I am a PhD candidate in philosophy at Washington University in St. Louis. I work mainly on epistemology and philosophy of cognitive science.

I am especially interested in reasoning, working on questions like:

• What is good reasoning?

• How do we come to reason?

• What are reasons?

My research brings the resources of cognitive science to bear on these traditional questions. I also have active projects in social cognition, early modern philosophy, and social epistemology.
